I’m not involved with TapSnap but do own a Kaia FIT Franchise and you are leaving out the true cost of getting a mom & pop business off the ground. Yes anyone can build their own, but how much money will be lost just on mistakes. How much will have to be invested to get the company off the ground, build a reputation ect. You go with any franchise as they have made the mistakes, know how best to run the business and get you profitable faster. We could have opened our own gym, but being part of a franchise helped us grow it into a half million dollar business fast.

      Hi Tim,

I agree. Getting started and making mistakes can be crazy costly. Imagine showing up at a wedding with faulty equipment or not knowing how to market. So, I definitely see the benefit to a franchise in some cases. My biggest point was that people should consider the ROI prior to making any real decisions regarding a franchise or adding a homemade photo booth to their business. Congrats on your business success!!
