P W Review Issue 6

March 2001

Issue 6 of the PW Review is now online.

I like the diversity that the Internet brings and I like to think that the house 'style' reflects that diversity with few prejudices. I am especially pleased with the cultural diversity of the 'net that enables me to put together poets that would almost surely never appear together in any other but a web form. Here we have cultures as diverse as Native American, a displaced American gradually coming to terms with the different culture of England - here I can empathize as I am slowly coming to terms with American culture having made the opposite journey - a poet from the Indian Subcontinent and a first for me - some poems translated from the Ailurin! For those of you who, like me, have no idea what language that is, I can now tell you that it is the feline language.

So, there is surely something here for everybody - with the possible exception of canines!

Browse and return often. If you enjoy their work, why not e-mail the poet to tell them - it takes so little effort but means so much to the recipient. If you prefer to remain anonymous, write to me and I will pass on your comments while maintaining anonymity
