Spring FeverHaving set out a New Year's Resolution last time, I was tempted to write about how well I did...but nobody likes writing about failure! April is National Poetry Month and Spring is a good time to have this festival. Spring is a time of renewal and poetry renews like nothing else in literature for me. Whether it is reacquainting myself with some of the great poets of the past or by reading new and unfamiliar poetry, I find my spirits lifted. As part of the celebration of National Poetry Month, the Academy of American Poets has published a National Poetry Map for the USA, for those of you in the USA, why not acquaint yourselves with the great poets from your state. Spring and Fall are my favorite seasons, both contain immeasurable beauty that have inspired poets down the ages. Let Spring inspire you. Chesil
