I am taking ESL classes, I never thought about how other people felt about learning another language and the way you discribe in your poem I really like it. Comments: Hi Carmen, I really liked your poems, of course I have to admit that the ones I liked the most were the ones I was able to understand. I especially liked the one called "beautiful". I can totally relate to that poem because eventhough we always say how we prefer to be admired more for what we say better than for how we look; we always end up falling for the compliments we get about our looks. Hey, we are women & vanity betrays us. Also I wanted to mention that today our ESL teacher brought to our class your poem titled "Primer ano de una lengua nueva"; it was interesting to hear different opinions on how we all in class identified with your poem. Comments: I was reading in my class of ESL51, about your poetry "Primer Ano de Una Lengua Nueva" is hard to understand poetry, but I notice when you wrote "It gives me a shiver to struggle with language after year of sitting at the keyboard certain of myself".
