My Beloved

He touches me with his eyes ablaze
With passion,blue as sapphire jewels
Flecked with diamonds. He takes all
Of me in,then I know I have been loved
At long last...
I loved him the moment we met. A
Shimmering aura surrounded his long
Elegant body like fine glass,transparent
Exquisite is my beloved.
Never had I encountered a man who
Possessed himself in such a self assured
Way. Yet still, humility tempered his gait.
Long sun kissed flaxen hair like a lion's
Mane inviting my fingers to have free
Reign in a wild passionate dance crazy
With love. Yes crazy for my beloved.
He sings his motets, hauntingly chanting
tunes luring me to his chest. His bare
chest...I lay my head against him breathing
His soft scent of sandalwood and spice. My
Body tingles, delight rising to the top! Yes,
At long last I have found my beloved.

Breathless

Breathless I run through
Fields of clover,sweet spring
Clover searching for my lover.
Heat rising up from beneath
The rich brown earth,radiating
Through my body...
Faster and faster I run hoping
For just a glimpse of my fine
Fair prince. Ah, yes, there he
Is mounted upon his high
Tower,looking down at my
Small figure,he blows the golden
Trumpet. Yes now, breathless
I am, transported almost magically
By his side. His sonnets speak of
Undying devotion written just for
Me. Happiness floods our souls
We at last are free to run through
Fields of clover, breathless in love...
