When I First Met You

When I first met you ,
I thought you were cool.
It was all game,
you had me fooled.


I thought of you
everyday that went by
I remembered the pain you caused me
and I often asked" why?"


As I laid awake at night
and remembered your lies
My eyes began to water
and I slowly started to cry


You caused me grief
You broke my heart
It was like
you had just torn my world apart


When I first met you
I thought you were cool
It was all game
You had me fooled
