The Kiss
Touch me, love, with your heart.
Draw me close and let us breathe the same breath.
Still the pounding of my blood
With caresses gossamer soft
And cup my face within your strong hands
As you drink me in.
Drowning in your eyes,
I sink beyond the sun's light and succumb to your magic.
Stars fall in fiery brilliance
Across the vast, revolving universe
As we stand in its still center,
Knowing only each other.
Kiss me now, beloved;
Seal my lips with your sweetness.
Take me beyond knowing
And show me the mysteries
Of this wondrous phenomenon called love.
