The Voice of Love

None other has the power to capture with his voice,
Spoke in hushed whispers, intoned on Love's wind.
Your words fall like dew heavy on ears cupped your way,
And wrap tightly o'er me, a soft blanket of sun's ray.

So murmur aloud your thoughts; let them linger then fade,
Caressing, cajoling my tired brain into sleep's trance.
And I'll slip, then speed quickly to dreamland with you,
And lulled by your whispers embrace your sweet lips yet anew.
