The Colors of You

Yellow,Pink,Red and the Bluest of Blue
Alone are nothing but colors we view
but, together they are the colors of you

Yellow is the life, the light, the beauty, the refreshed and the new The first to be seen in the morning sun, brightening the day until the day is done. Refreshing what once was playful and new,
smoothing the edges of what's sure to be blue.
It's the twinkling eye, welcome smile, gentle hand and caring style. This is the friend I say is the best, I prey it will be till they lay me to rest. This must be first to gain all the rest, alone it can stand to make it the best.

Pink is the innocents and tenderness, the child inside, joyful and true. This is the color that's made from you and the reason we think so much of you. This is the laughter, the tears, joined only by courage and fears. The moments to be charished throughout the years, and what makes you special and loved in the coming years.

Red is the color that's tried and true, the strength, the anger, love and pamper. Taken through time without skipping a beat, a heart so big and strong yet tender and sweet. Without love in your heart the greatest of gifts, how we would be lost and you would be missed. Giving us children, family and life, but mostly love that comes from the heart. Never losing the love that's deep inside, never backing away from doing your part, It's these gifts you give without concern, we will live our lives trying to earn.

The bluest of blue will always be there, unable to change although it's unfair. Making you hurt and lonely inside, bringing pain and tears to your eyes. If we could walk on water or float on air, maybe we could make the blue vanish in air.

But we are the men lost and living with pride, but knowing that you are our strength inside. For the rest of our time we will always be true and try to keep only shades of blue.

The Friend, the Child, the Lady and the Bluest of Blue
Are all that we charish and love in You
