Waves

To: H.C.M III

My love was enough for a brief time,
and for a little while she was out of your mind.

But Oh so soon love that was built upon walls of deceit and lies,
now came crumbling down right before my eyes.

And there was nothing I could do,
and blindly I kept holding on and loving you.

But the day finally came that was written in faith;
came unto me like a wave rolling on a small grain of sand.
There she appeared to you like a godly creature,
you were again her fool, her man.

Me, like the grain of sand washed away,
and there SHE stayed.

That was the day I lost you,
I finally realized, there was nothing anymore I could do.
