I loved you once
I gave you everything I could
-My heart, my soul, my entire being
And you ignored me
You toyed with my emotions
You led me on for months
Yet I still loved you
I still wanted you

You told me you loved me
But you lied to me
-You hurt me like no one had before
You made me fear love
You told me you’d call
Yet you didn’t
I still wanted you

My heart burned with a passion for you
I told you things
-Things I had never told anyone
And you kept your secrets
You teased me
You ruined my faith in love
Yet I thought our names were written in the stars
I still wanted you

Finally I realized your true being
But I had my doubts
-Doubts that what my friends said were true
And they were right
You wasted my time
You made sick when I heard the sound of your name
Yet now I realize the kind of person you are
I despise you
