A Bright and Sunny Day

There is a place I want to go, so very far away,
O’r the rugged mountain pass and endless fields along the way
A place where I might find, all that I gave away
And once again to see and feel a bright and sunny day

Her hair is like the sunshine, on a breezy summer's day
Her voice, the gentle singing of the swallows as they play
Her eyes so bright and blue, as the clearest skies in May.
With warm and warming smile, like a bright and sunny day.

Perhaps I took for granted, that bright and sunny day
I must have been enchanted by the potions and the play
But in my soul the clouds did come, and chased the sun away
And left me with the memories, of a bright and sunny day

To my lost love, Rhonda
