My Angel

I feel your presence as you enter the room
I stop what I am doing
Look up
And there you are
Everything around me stops
I see no more than your beautiful figure
I hear only your gentle breath
Almost immediately, you turn and gaze at me
Our eyes connect
Like magic, all my fears and worries dwindle away
My heart begins to race as you walk towards me
I wait impatiently for you to speak
Your words come out so beautifully
Like a perfectly composed symphony
Before long, you're holding me in your arms
And all my anger and frustration withers at your touch
I then stare into your soft sparkling eyes
Press my lips against yours
Instantly I realize that you are an angel
And I am in heaven
With you here beside me
