Forbidden Love

In her he saw a flame that burned
It flickered in his eye
He did not know that the flame lived for him
And when he stoped loving her the flame did die

For a while they were happy
That cannot be denied
Then it all went to hell
Then they only cried

They both found others to try to stop the pain
For him it worked
For her the pain was just delayed

The others were nothing compared to him
They could not fill the void
She was still filled with the pain of the memories
Of which she could not hide

As time went by his love stoped
Hers only grew
It is a terrible thing, this forbidden love
That no one should go through

No matter how she wishes it isnt so
Her love for him will only grow
She cannot stop it, it is deep inside
It will always come out, no matter how she wishes it to hide

Maybe someday they will come together
This most natural love will last forever

But untill that day, she can only pray
And hope things will turn out right
Hope for the time when she can turn to him
And he will be there
Day or night
