Being With You

When I’m with you,
Nothing else seems to matter.
Time stands still just for us.
Worries are no longer thought about,
Problems seem so few.
I feel no aches or pains.
I’m oblivious to life’s strife,
I cannot see or hear anyone else.
You are my reason for living.
My desires, hopes, and goals,
I share them all with you.
Without you I have no direction,
no purpose, no tomorrow.
I am at peace in your arms.
This is where I belong,
this is where I will forever stay.
