THE SPLASH of LIFE

dedicated to Tim G. 5/7/02

Churning and churning like the mighty seas.....
Our hearts and minds rush to shore.
Looking for that final resting place and looking at fear no more.

Laying as the shells from the deep for all to see and touch...
We soon look for so much.

Expectations of that special person who is holding perhaps our dream.
Our whispers so quiet as the echoing sea.
The want, the need so clear and pure as the innocense of a child.
To feel tender loving arms to surround.

Out of all the beauty that lay....
He comes, he picks he plays.

Coventing his prize he takes it and hides
Will he try to learn it's secrets it has to tell?
Or will he set it back with all the other shells?

Oh, "THE SPLASH of LIFE"

ONLY A DREAM?

dedicated to RICKEY

I was a lost soul wondering for so long until you came along.
My body went into shut down and may face held only faint smiles.
I drifted from state to state not ever thinking of what, or who I was or will ever be again.

Finally returning to my tower wanting only to know silence you came for a walk in these deep dark dreary woods.
Like the man you are, and knowing no fear, you called out my name and started to come near.

My heart, mind, body and soul was so weak that I could not speak.
Closer and closer you did come, extending your hand and soon whispering comfort and love from my storms.

Like a flower that needed some rain, you said to me "be still", for I am now at the reins.

Remembering your words I began to respond.

Not wanting to open my eyes for the fear was that perhaps I was dreaming.
Lord knows how I waited for this for so long.

All I know, is that I would go for broke to be with you and feel this comfort again forever.
I say to myself every passing moment of the day.
I think you you on two occasions... "Day and Night"

When I hear your voice, all my fears just slip away...
When I look at your picture, I feel those strong yet tender arms around me.
When you call, I simply melt like butter on a hot bun.
Could this be a vision of love coming to me?

Let the music play and teach me again how to dance!

WOULD HE

Dedicated to DON FERRARO

When this man loves a woman...
Would he give it all he's got
Would he put all friends aside
Would he forget about his foolish pride?

Would he show he may have some fears
Would he let her wipe away his tears?

Would he show he has held back much pain
Would he let her take away all the rain?

Would he let all his laughter out
Would he let his love come out
Would he know he is what she has dreamt about?

Would he?
