My Dream

I never knew how good and how freeflowing a relationship could be like, until I found one. Our story is still unfolding......but I know I love him.....he is my soulmate and my best friend.


I dream of a life that is easy to live
Where the love flows freely...and is natural to give.
I dream of the day when I can live what I feel
Finally living the love that I know to be real.
Once bound by circumstance, my heart will take flight
And overcome the obstacles to at last, make it right.
Unfenced, like a colt, how freely I'll run
Knowing the life I desire.........has only begun.

Darkness fills my very soul
Whenever we're apart
Consumed by the emptiness
So sadly, beats my heart.

How I ache to hear your voice
To see your smile, your face
How I long to feel the touch
Of your warm embrace.

Be near me again, my true love
I'll wait longingly for the day
When you take me in your arms
And cast the darkness away.
