River of Love

As the river flows;
Our love grows;
Beyond each bend;
The river never ends;
Nor will our love;
As God thus sends;
As the river flows over in the spring;
So to will our hearts,
And our hearts will sing;
As the river feeds the fish , the animals and the plant life;
So shall my love feed my wife;
To just sit by a river is oh, so soothing;
Being with you is just as moving.
Lets go fishing Honey?

Dedicated to my wife Susan

Remind Me

Your eyes of green,
remind me of the lush
green meadows of spring,
your luscious lips,
remind me of the soft pink
petals of a rose,
your smile reminds me
that life is not filled with woes,
your gentle touch reminds me,
of the softness of the pussy willow,
your beauty reminds me,
of the wonders of nature,
and the wonders of God
reminds me of you,
the dark, cold , winter nights,
reminds me of what life
would be without you,
an acorn reminds me,
of our love, that will grow,
as that of the great oak tree ,
you need not remind me
of our commitment,
because God does this to,
I would just like to remind you ,
of how much I Love You....................

If Teddy could talk.......

My Teddy Bear has no care,
which makes him so much less for wear.
He holds me close when I am sad,
and jumps for joy when I am glad.
He's such a joy,his eyes will glisten,
when I am down he will listen.
When I am home alone and cold,
he is there for me to hold.
Such a friend I've never had,a friend like him just can't be bad.
If he could talk, the tales he would tell,
some would be good,some not so swell.
I tell him my secrets without any fear,
all though he can't speak, he can certainly hear.
Lying with him is like a bed of flowers,
I could just lay there for hours and hours.
You are my Teddy Bear,even though you can't walk,
thank you for being there
I am sure glad you can't talk.

The Seed Of Love

Allow the seed to mature,
The seed of love is at your door,
Let it blossom in your heart,
It's never to late to get a new start,
Our feelings are thicker then blood,
Please don't let it turn to mud,
This seed of passion we did grow,
Don't nip it the bud,
Just allow it to grow,
It will be beautiful,
you will see,
This seed of love,
is you and me,
With a little loving care,
This seed will grow beyond compare,
Sew this seed we will share,
I love you Susan,
don't despair..................
