I want to know you,
Love me.
I want to see you,
Be with me.
I have the faith to go on,
The strength to hold on,
And the courage
To be by myself.
I thought I needed you
But that's just not true.
And I thought I wanted you -
Sometimes I still do.
But I can't spend my life
Clinging to something
That just isn't there.
