Just Some of the Reasons Why

He's a kind and gentle man
Of which I'm a great big fan


He has a sweet, yet sexy way
That forever fills my day

He's generous to a fault
If we went out to dine
He'd be sure to pay for the malt -


He's a tender man
Whether he's watching panda's on the set
Or listening with eyes of intent -


He's a man with great respect
When you speak to him, you should add "po"
Yes he's thoughtful, don't I know -


He holds with all his might
But in a way that's oh so gentle
Like a dove in its flight -


These are just some of the reasons why, I love him so.


He loves without restraint
When he kisses me, I could just faint -


He loves without conditions
You can be who you are, even act like a fool
Never needing his permission

He's never moody, always the same
"At least we're alive", that's what he claims -


All that I've said to you about this "Joe"
Are just some of the reasons why, I love him so


But there are some things that can't be explained


Like how I feel when he gazes into my eyes
I want to take a big deep breath, and let out all of my sighs


So in the end, whether down on paper or in my heart
Whether I refer to him as Julio, or a generic name like Joe
