Of Hearts and Questions...

A poem is the only way
To get my feelings out
I've tried so hard to keep them in
But sometimes need to shout!

Oh ~ such a deep desire inside
A longing for your touch
If what we share is not love yet,
"I LIKE You Verrrrrrrrrrrry Much"
(ha)

I check to see if you're online
(Sometimes I hide to do so)
I want so much to say hello
I care so much - do you know?

If you don't feel the same for me
Please tell me so that I
Can put this childish heart to rest
And tell desire to die

I long to gaze into your eyes ~
I so desire your hug
To share the throes of passion
Then to cuddle ~ warm and snug

When you're online my heart - it smiles -
I melt to get your letter
Each day I know you, I'll admit
That "LIKE" gets even better.


Do you think there we will ever be
A Love between us two?
I know I'm probably dreaming but...
Ya think it could come true?

I am not asking when or where
Or how we two could be
I'm only asking if you feel
The same inside for me

I'm wanting to convey my heart
I'm trying now to say
These feelings for you, stronger grow
With every passing day

If you can tell that there will never
Be an "us" to share
I'd like to hear it straight from you
So I can cease to care..............

And tell my heart to close this door
It's opening wide for you
To hear you say, "Stay Open"
Would be a dream come true

In Tranquil Sleep

I saw you in my dreams last night
I so wish it was real
For in my slumber I was free
To share just how I feel

No holding back, no trembling heart
Just passion, fully bared
You gently held me in your arms
Your touch revealed you cared ~

We spoke of love, of life, of dreams
We shared our hopes and plans
We walked along the moonlit beach
Such comfort hand in hand......

But morning dawned, as mornings do
And with it's light I pondered
The dream was just a dream, so sweet ~
Ohhhh ~ How my heart had wandered.....

Such tranquil sleep so calms my soul
Propels me to such height
Though now I'm off to face the day
I'll see you ~ come the night.
