Sage and I seem to attract some beautiful souls to our pages.
David Barnes is one that happened our way.
"twas not easy......It is the courage of love, that give you the courage to go forth, on, into the unknown.......This is what my wife wanted.......we both used to say.......if something happened........Remember me,
what we hold, what we held, but, go forth into life, for I will be with
you, in all you do, and may you find love again, but, never forget me, for
I will be with you, a part of the new Life, the new love the future...Always...
We had a special relationship, Rosemary....in that we let each other bloom, within our relationship, and let each other, grow.....outside our relationship. Too many people are unable to see this...and when they do..they try, and put the flower inside a box, hold it there......Too late, it, withers and dies........ love has died....with the flower, they wish to hold too close.......marriage is like a rose bud..."beautiful,......Yet it must have light, to bloom, fully into full life, grow in the sun......each of us has that right...."
Memories Never fade Away
I always thought married life ended after many years
Of love, old age, it seemed the normal way to go.
It did not quite work out like that way for me,
I spent all my time watching her wither away,
A shell of the woman I loved.
Memories never fade away! they endure within,
'Enabling, you to proceed up the road of life.
It is no exaggeration that hardly a day has passed
That when I have not reflected,
On what a beautiful vibrant person she was.
What I, had taken for granted at times,
without even thinking about it
Just how blessed, I was, to have been the one she married.
As I looked into her eyes, something
That has always, or seems to have always
been there, passed between us.
I understood that she knew she was going to die,
not make it.
I drink in her eyes, talk with our eyes,
Twenty-four years of marriage brings a special empathy,
Between two people, we were so lucky,
in having reached so close
An understanding of each other, at times we were
as one.
It makes one wonder, do people, really! Realize
What they have could have in life...!
A Tender Bud
A rose, a tender bud
'Love, in every way,
Leisurely,
Unfurls uncurls,
Be it, as it may.
Young buds, unfold
To shafts of light,
'Beautiful, serene
Love, arising
Destine center stage.
'Fragile, love's, bloom
Has blossomed,
At inception,
Mother nature,
Has, its way
