Time and space and earth did reel
with emotions I thought only I could feel.
With poetry and songs unsung
until the words fell lilting from your tongue
to hang there glittering in my dark night,
shimmering strong like diamonds bright.

And I reached out with these two hands
to pluck and spin them into silken strands
with which I will weave love's magic so frail
and give to you to cherish like a holy grail.
