The Road To Love

The road to love is like a rose
Though it be beautiful,
Some thorns may grow.

The scent of a rose is "oh-so-sweet"
Until you touch a thorn!
Soul mates and their differing views meet
And their quarreling blows a horn.

But the rose still remains
Beyond the sentiments torn,
Because the rose has a destination
That's longing to be born!

My Fondest Dream

Today I prayed a special prayer
For my fondest dream to come true,
Because in my heart I felt a tear
And it's got something to do with you.

It may seem silly to write this way
Or say these things I say,
But if a fool I become, then a fool I'll be
Because you're worth the risk - to me.

I'll wait the wait, until the time is right
However long it may be,
For a day will come when the sun shines bright
And romance will fall upon you and me!

Our LOVE

Our LOVE shines like the sun,
And in a very special way
Our two hearts have become as one.
And with this I will gladly say,
That our LOVE will forever stay.
