Butterfly

You come to my life
Like a thunder in a blue sky
You kiss my lips and give my heart
The wings of a butterfly.
With smiling eyes, I was looking at you
Hoping you will make my dreams come true.
    Every touch was special
    Every moment was new
    I was afraid to lose you
    I did not know what to say
    I did not know what to do.
    As I laid in your arms
    And watch you follow a sleep
    I was wondering
    Is this just a passing moment?
    Or something special
    That I can forever keep.
Blond hair, smiling eyes
Slim body, attraction -
That is what every one see
But deep inside my soul
There is a heart
That means the world to me
Longing to be love
For the person - that is just ME.
    Yesterday, as you walked of the plane
    That heart of mine
    Was crying in pain
    Not knowing if you ever
    Will kiss my lips and hold me again?
I wrote this poem for you see
How special you have become to me
No one before have seen me acting that way
It has been long time since
I allow myself to feel that way.
    The days of butterfly are
    Beautiful but few
    Today I'm alone thinking if me and you
    I have a dream ... but will it come true?
Wondering if You and I ... can
Spread our wings
Reach blue sky, fly together like a butterfly?

I had wrote this poem for the special man that came to my life in a very unexpected time of my life ... He open my heart and help me see that I can love again ... and I there is someone to love me ... His name is Dan ... he is a Pilot First Officer on Boeing 727 ... I'm a Flight Attendant ... We worked together on line for 8 months. I never dream to date him ... but on January 08 , 2000, he asked me out ... Today we are happy together ... The sad thing is the Dan got a new exciting offer to fly in California and is moving from Florida on April 02 ... he is not gone yet ... but I cry already ... I'm selling my house and then we be together again ... together forever ... He is the best thing that happened to me since 1994 ... he loves me ... knowing that I have heart condition (cardiac arrest, was in comma for a week and have Implantable Defibrillator ) ... my ex - have left me because of that ... I have waited for 6 years ... dreaming of love ... and finally ... LOVE IS IN MY HEART ... I LOVE YOU DANNY ... Today, tomorrow and Forever ... Ally
